New Year Holidays and Preparing for Exam
23 January, 2026
The New Year marked a meaningful transition for the MSP students, serving as both a moment of reflection and a fresh beginning. After months of academic engagement and cultural experiences, the holiday period offered a brief pause to recharge, reconnect with other MSP students, and prepare mentally for the challenges ahead.
During the holiday season, the MSP students spent time gathering with friends, sharing meals, and enjoying the warmth of togetherness. Many celebrated the New Year in Tokyo, experiencing Japanese traditions such as seasonal cuisine, festivals, and visits to cultural landmarks. These moments not only strengthened friendships among students but also deepened their appreciation of Japanese culture, making the holiday both enjoyable and meaningful.
As January began, the MSP students were fully prepared to return to the programme with renewed focus and enthusiasm. The start of the new year was highlighted by a special lecture from Professor C. C. Kuik of National University of Malaysia, which set an inspiring academic tone for the semester. At the same time, they have begun organizing their study plans and intensifying preparations for the Fall Season final examinations, balancing motivation with discipline.
With refreshed energy and a strong sense of purpose, the MSP students step into the New Year ready to grow academically and personally. The journey ahead may be demanding, but with mutual support, determination, and a positive spirit, they are well prepared to face every challenge and make this year a successful and memorable one.
