Life in Hiroshima
07 May, 2025
In April, the MSP students moved to Hiroshima, where they are learning about subjects more specific to coast guard operations and writing research papers, while experiencing life in a rural area, which is different from Tokyo.
As part of their training in Hiroshima, they visited Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park on May 1. At the museum, they viewed a variety of materials that showed the damage caused by the atomic bombing and attended a lecture on the reconstruction of Hiroshima after the bombing. The MSP 10th batch students, all of whom came from different countries and backgrounds, had a chance to think about peace from their own perspectives.
The MSP students will now be busy preparing their research papers, but they will work together to advance them and will also take opportunities to learn more about Japan.
