MSP 11th batch has started!
10 October, 2025
On October 2, 2025, the 11th batch of the Maritime Safety and Security Policy Program, MSP entered the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies, GRIPS. The MSP 11th batch consists of 11 participants from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Japan.
The overseas participants arrived in Japan in late September and have been living in the same accommodation since October. They are eager to learn about Japan and express their curiosity with questions like, “When does it snow? I’ve never seen it before, and I would love to! When does winter start in Japan?” and “Why do Japanese eat dumplings during the moon-viewing festival?” They are also impressed by how quiet everyone is on the trains. Their days are filled with wonder and excitement as they discover new things.
On the other hand, they are busy with preparations for classes and assignments at the university, supporting each other as they strive to manage their workloads.
Living together and studying at university can be challenging, but they will make this year a fruitful one.
