MSP 10th batch has started.
02 December, 2024
On October 2, 2024, the 10th batch of the Maritime Safety and Security Policy Program, MSP was admitted to the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies, GRIPS. We have nine members in our program. They are from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Palau, Maldives, Philippines, and Sri Lanka, and two Japanese. This is the first time for the program to have a participant from Palau. On the day of entrance, we visited the President of GRIPS.
The MSP students have been living in the same accommodations since late October. The international students were feeling a bit bewildered at first, but they are gradually getting used to the unfamiliar climate and the basically non-English-speaking life in Japan. On the other hand, life in GRIPS is very busy with preparation for various lectures, assignments, and writing research papers.
It is tough to take high-level classes and to do a lot of assignments, but we will cooperate with each other to make this year fruitful.
